Just seen a post from a guy online who is starting a GoFundme because AC showed up at his house without a warrant stating one of his dogs was underweight and ended up having all five of his dogs seized . That's all I know and do not know the guy personally .
That's crazy! I just am now seeing the report and article from that ASPCA guy. Having lived in that area is extremely hard to keep a large size yard. And ironically I do recall the time when ac kept harassing me about getting my dogs registered out of nowhere. They would show-up unannounced a few times a month and luckily at the time i only had (3) on my yard but kept them nice and healthy during New England winter. They stopped coming by and I never did register the pups. Yard was always clean and dogs looked healthy. Definitely a witch hunt!
I'm probably going to piss some people off. If they didn't stay on people stuff would get out of hand. I could see some people breeding, fighting dumping dogs left and right. There prob needs to be some deterent to just anyone getting a serious game bred dog. They have the tools to do damage. It only takes a minute with an unrestrained dog for some stuff to happen. Plus some people are downright sorry when it comes to caring for animals. Maybe AC goes too far. Prob needs to be there. For some reason I think in the old days people took more pride in their stuff. I feel dogmen would come on someone who took shitty care of their dogs. I still believe successful people have dogs fed, worked and taken general care of better than the average dog owner. There are sorry people with pits. They probably came out to see how you were going to be with them. When you had common sense. They left you alone.

I agree. To some degree we are always pulled down by the people with the worse judgement. People culling dogs and leaving a bag of dogs by the road. I know a lot of people get jammed up. Pieces of shit always pull down the good people. A responsible owner wouldn't breed more than they could use. If they had to cull a living thing should be treated with some degree of respect. The dogs I have had to put down I pray over and take the time to make sure the bullet gets to the spot it needs to be. Old school guys wouldn't let dogs go. They are a serious responsibility in a lot of ways.
No. Government force is never the answer. Government exists only to protect human rights not animal rights or welfare. Government does everything by force and must be limited to only protecting our rights. Anything else is overstep and will result in abuse of power like we’re seeing here.
Are dogmen their own policing entity that enforces standards in their ranks. From the standpoint of the police what do they do when a bag of dogs shows up on the side of the road with outraged citizens calling. Common sense would see to it that a standard of treatment would be expected among people that ask a lot of a dog. I look at my pack like a general. If we have to go into harms way to catch a hog then I will ensure after care of my soldiers. If I can't provide that care I don't need to be in it. I know there are lines where i don't want to be told what to do with my property but there are times when it spills over into the rights of others. I guess there are a lot of times that I agree with what officially retired has written about people being fast to tear down a dog and can't put it back together. In regards to your statement there are times the animals can effect the rights of humans. ie shitty chain setups with high prey drive dogs and kids. In another post I mentioned separating match info from breeding, conditioning, feeding etc The other part of the journal. There is probably a lot of information that can't be taught.
Law abiding APBT owners and dog fighters are two different groups.If I own a mill for keeping my dog in shape or conditioning them for conformation shows that should be my right.The days of the SDJ are OVER in the USA.If you’re matching dogs you’re on the way to prison and your dogs are on their way to be put down.If you’re sending in reports of those matches you’re even more stupid.
Absolute truth! Animals are property and commodities. They do not have "rights".
