A "finger tip's worth" is not a proper unit of measurement, first of all, and (in this case) whatever amount was at the end of your finger isn't even close to the right dosage.
When dispensing drugs, ALWAYS use accepted units of measurment, and remember it is never correct to under-dose drugs, ever.
All you're doing when you engage in half-ass, sloppy practice like that is 1) you're not accomplishing your purpose, which therefore means 2) you're wasting your time/money, and worse 3) you're also running the risk that the parasite will build resistance to the drug you're using, so that even if you use the right dose the next time that drug will no longer work.
So never do something like this.
When you buy drugs, understand what the dosage is, use the right dose, for the right frequency per day, and carry all dosings out for the proper duration of days.
