Just a question of whether these orphans were genetically defective for some reason or just had a bad unlucky start in life. Mom didn’t want them for some reason. I can’t find it but a cattle linebreeder had six principles or criteria that he would allow cattle to stay in his herd. I can’t find the article. One was females had to birth unassisted meaning no c sections. Sounds rough at first but you don’t want to pass those genes on. High frequencies of c sections break the bank. Are the orphans unlucky diamonds in the rough or mom knew some thing was wrongWhat orphans?
