LOL i get you. This is were it gets tricky. But if she truly loves you, she wont mind the dogs. If she doesn't. Well she wasn't the right girl anyway. Good luck brother.

Trust me, I am in no hurry to divulge everything

We are simply having fun now, getting to know each other in other important ways first.

I will have to know in my bones that she trusts me 100% ... and that she is 100% trustworthy with "Classified Information" ... before I ever decide to "go there" with her.

I hear ya on that Jack, mine knows it all and did it all with me when I was active. But I was very worried about her knowing the depth of the dogs obsession. Lol I brought her to a big show and she loved it, she was talking about doing her own keep by the end of the night. TSK

    I feel you.

I am not sure if this one could ever accept "the whole deal" of my involvement in dogs. She does like boxing and the UFC, which is a good sign, but she is a fanatic about animals in a foo-foo sense, so I am a little worried in that regard. I have found that most of the women who can get into the dogs usually come from a farming, or some kind of rural, background where they deal with animals on a commercial/performance level--as opposed to a woman who comes from a city/upscale background.

Back in the early 90s, I was living with a beautiful latina girl, who dealt with the dogs on a "pet" level, but who refused to go further than that with them (although she did go to a roll or two--back before I developed the sense not to roll dogs in front of women ). Eventually, she just didn't want to be involved with that.

Then I met a killer blonde at my brother's wedding (I was 30 and she was 21), and she actually went with me to Poncho's match into Ch Leonard ... and although she was pretty pissed that he got so banged up, she did stay with me and helped me save him. But when we came home to a kennel slaughter on Christmas Eve in the mid-90s, where 3 puppies just got massacred and cannibalized when we were at my parents' house, she too couldn't take the gruesome reality of these dogs anymore. After she and I broke up, and after I knew a couple of guys whose wives/girls dropped a dime on them when things went wrong (including TL Williams, whose ex cost him $40,000 in legal fees when she ratted him out after a split), I pretty much decided against having a woman in my life after my dog volume went up to 45 (and eventually over 80 dogs). Only when I went back down to a more sane level of dogs ( <10 ) have I really felt comfortable bringing a woman into my life again.

Don't know where this current road is going to lead me, but since Silverback isn't getting any younger, I will probably be a city boy with two dogs again within the next year or two, and will basically have this Resource act as my outlet for dogs ... while I enjoy some of the finer things again, like actually being able to travel

Well, I finally dropped "The Bulldog Bomb" on Trish ... and to be honest it didn't go so well ... but she kinda had a feeling about it in that regard. I told her I have pretty much been "out" of dogs for a long time, as far as my own activity is concerned, but I still have (and will always have) an avid interest in dogs (and in combat in general). Fortunately, although she didn't want to talk about any details, being a fan of boxing and the UFC in general, she kinda understood the gist ... and because we have a pretty big "chemistry thing" going on, all is still good to go

Since I was absent pretty much all last week having fun down in Miami, I thought I would share some photos of some of the fun times we had

On an airboat ride with "The BeastMaster," a Native-American
Tour Guide who "tames" wild alligators with a series of calls

It was a fun trip & I hope you enjoy
