At the top of the page in the center while you're viewing the pedigree to be edited. You should see, "Edit" click that and change that dogs name to the correct one, then click submit. Select the dam you wish to edit and proceed to do the same.

Isn't it possible to put a option for GL in the pedigree system to put? GL and L is very different from eachother.. just my 2 cents

probably cause GL is subjective. If GL/LG is a more respectable loss, then why is it GL if you pick up fast with a bleeder, and L if the dog stops at 3 hour mark. just saying in general.

Ditto Nut. Point well taken. Near the end of my time in the dogs, I started seeing a trend from the better known dog men, my partner included. This trend was picking up a dog not so much for a serious injury etc.

But picking up their dog to save face and not seeing their dog stand the line. Usually making a fast sell of the dog afterwards to some young dog man to cover their loses.

Now I understand one can read all sorts of scenarios into what I just said. Just like the Game loser or losing game feature. These are subjective views from how one person or the other person considers what a game dog is.

Why I would stress to the new dog man or a well known dog men. To show their first time dog for a modest amount of show money. If the dog is in proper pulling condition and of equal weight. Unless something freaky happens let the show go till the fat lady sings.

Mr. Teal/Mr. Ferris/Mr. Skinner/Mr. Clouse/Mr. Pratt/Mr. Mims/Mr. Trahan/Mr. Tudor/ Mr. Wimberly and many other old timers that knew their dog was brought in right. Let the show go till the fat lady sung. I can assure you, that day Tramp Red Boy had his last dog show with that rough bitch of Mr. Cables. Only one was coming out of that show a winner. Was not going to be any picking up.

This one thing will keep a lot of culls from being bred and the better show dogs going on to prove their worth. Along with the deep game losing dogs used in the breeding pen as well. Just my humble opinion. Cheers
