    Ill say this last little.bit for my part .I keep the thought of my mother pushed back far enough to get me through each day , but at the same time you never let go or forget..Same way with your best dogs.

    Bulldog Anonymous, I am very sorry to hear about your mother. That is always a hard loss. And Jack, I hope both your parents well be around a few more years. Time flies and we were all young once. Enjoy them while they are still here. Bamaman, sorry for your loss too.

    Back to topic, here are a few old 19th century to early 20th century paintings of bulldogs that you all might enjoy seeing… The first one "Bill" is very small, the dog house one is medium size, and the brindle gyp is a huge painting, almost life size.
