    Hello Everybody

It's just me, California Jack ...

Ya know, just the guy who created all of this 😅

First of all, my condolences to S.B. and family.

Second, I haven't "talked dogs" for over 15 years, but I just wanted to check-in.

Hope everyone has a Happy New Year ✨

Hell yeah, man! I still use your book as a reference to this day—solid stuff.

Since you’re here, figured I’d ask and maybe get some discussion going. I’m looking to redo a few chain spots and came across some really solid military-grade chain in 5/16".

In your opinion, is that too heavy, or would it be appropriate for bigger dogs (50 lb+)? Curious to hear your thoughts and what others here have had success with.

Hey brother ... all is good.

In regards to your question, for pups and adolescents, maybe so.

    But for adults, no.

I think dragging the weight is not excessive, but productive 👊

More like a felon, called by national television, when a customer was busted on national (Arkansas) TV 😵

I have gone back to being a causality investigator. The statute of limitations for (non-murder) felonies is 7 years, so I just disappeared.

But my brother's wife has become obsessed with "rescuing dogs" (in Mexico), so I have been thinking dogs more, lately.

So just came back here to say, Hello ...

I honestly have no idea about the state of these dogs today, have not followed.

But I do believe that the core principles of excellence will never change ... and that is what I tried to put out there when I was a dedicated breeder.
