Dewclaws

Had a debate over dog having dewclaws....never seen it in my dogs....he was surprised and thought it happens all the time....not from my dogs....input on the subject.....what lines are throwing this

So none of your hounds have dew claws? The only onesi have ever seen without them the owner had them removed.

I am talking about dewclaws on the back....had the same blood for 12 years none....and the originators of my blood never had them and they have over 50 years in the game

The guy had some debow pistol blood and bred it to a bolio/ redboy bitch he got from me....he had them removed by a vet and sold them

I know this is an old thread but hey business is slow around here so I'll try to bring it back to life.

I've seen rear dew claws on one bulldog that was said to be a good one. Big floppy dew claws at that! I'm by no means an Authority to say wether or not it's possible but it never set well with me and I've always believed something wasn't right with it. Anybody want to chime in on this subject?

I did an uncle to niece breeding and got a pup with rear dewclaws. All game litter,too.I just figured it had something to do with the inbreeding
