EMERGENCY QUESTION: FLUID IN THE ABDOMEN/STOMACH

Our male has fluid in his stomach, feels like water is in there. Contacted a vet and he said it could be fluid from congested heart failure. He never coughs but has slowed down energy wise when it comes to having consistent energy. He still has a good appetite as well. Can we do anything to reduce the fluid in his abdomen? Wanted to get some opinions before we take him in to the vet. Any info would be much appreciated.

I'd say get him to the vet. Good luck hopefully it isn't heart failure but it sure sounds like it.

Abdomen, he's still eating like nothing is wrong.

There is a medication that has dexamethasone and antibiotics in it. Inowykd give him dex and metradinazole. Dex to get that water out, metradinazole in case there's an infection.
