Near the end of Sonny's time with the dogs. Sonny corresponded with V. Jackson. Jackson sent Sonny a young male dog named Syke's (Jackson's) Jack Dempsey.

Jack Dempsey was a sibling to Jackson's Son and Jackson's Tunney. Sonny told Jackson he really liked that little brindle male a lot. Sadly later on Dempsey was killed in a kennel accident, being a small dog of around 35 pounds on the chain. Jackson told me recently, that Sonny back then, called him to tell of the lose of Dempsey.

When Smith quit the dog game. He brought most of the dogs of V.J.'s stock and gave them back to him.

David Smith made one breeding to Syke's Jack Dempsey. Was Smith's Diana.

I have a picture of Smith's Diana and those pups off her and Syke's Jack Dempsey. Those six pups were marked very similar to the litter I got off Mayfield's Snake to my Young's Tina.

Got some of my info mixed up but talked with V.J. this week again about this subject. He never had the Diana bitch nor the pups off her and Dempsey. Smith may have sold Diana and if the pups lived to some other dog men.

When Smith quit the game. I know V.J. got Son back. Saw Son running the chain on V.J.'s yard with a missing front paw.

I have the pedigree of Syke's Dempsey and Smith's Diana in the system. The Diana dam was bred off the Snake Jr x Patrick's Angel Face. Those pups carried a lot of the Corvino and Dibo bloodline in them.

IMHO,I am a firm believer that the best over all families of dogs even today. Will carry a good bit of the Corvino and Tudor's Dibo and Dibo's siblings in the foundation pedigree. Cheers
