The only way their is any benefit from branch chain amino acids are when taken before sleep with no other complete protein source added. Same with L-Glutamine/L-Arginine etc.. In other words you eat two boiled eggs along with those BCCA's etc. The body sees all of this in one complete amino acid profile and uses only what it needs.
Dogs have tremendous digestive acids in their stomachs, can break down bones. If fed a good quality meat base,preferably whole chicken with skin/all fat/liver etc. That dog will get all of it's protein amino acids it can use on that given day according to it's bodies needs that day. Cheers
