The Sorrels dogs in this breeding are down out Zeke, the dog that made Bolio.

Some of the best Mims dogs we have seen were Snooty-Bolio.

The Ajax dog was the Mims Snooty types on the top and the Sorrel's (Bolio type) on the bottom. A beautiful cross.

This is a dog that should have been bred a lot more but fate had a different plan.

I agree with you 100% EWO!
I have seen a difference running Bolio on the bottom & Sorrells on the top.

I also owned this female that was heavy Sorrells Bull.

I'm a huge Mims fan. With that said I have only seen a few of the Leblanc bred dogs and of the few that make it back to NC only a small percentage of them made it to the show.

They inbred a lot of the Snooty dogs form Mr. Mims. Stuff was their Red Boy source. I am sure there were good dogs down from that strain but with the source right here maybe enough of the good ones did not make it back.

A good friend of mine was pretty good friend's with Mr. Sorrells. My buddy loved the bulldogs but never really did any dogs. He was the best guy to drop off a six week puppy and get a well raised, ready to work 10-12-14 month old young dog. We dropped off several over the years and at one point "his dogs' won four or five matches in a row. He and Mr. Sorrells spent a lot of hours on the phone and it even included a visit. Mr. Sorrells walked him thru some carpet mill work as well. He had a ton of respect for Mr. Sorrells.

The funniest part is my buddy would talk working dogs with him, keeps and dogs winning. My buddy may have seen one roll and found out it was not his cup of tea. But he loved the dogs.

After Ajax I thought a lot more of the Mims/Sorrels or Sorrels/Mims dogs would pop up. Especially when the Mims dogs were heavy on the Snooty.

Nice bulldog and much respect to the camp that did him.

Fact. One of Ajax wins was into a 1st time out dog, and dogman. In fact, It was into big thickets own cousin. 1.st and last... Can anyone here tell me how many wins Ajax had already, before this so called show took place?

The one into his cousin was the 2nd or third. I'm not sure the resume of the dog in question.

The last was into the Mayday dog. It has been said the aftercare, or lack of after care is what did him in after the Mayday bred dog.
