Point taken.

Good distinction, and another point well taken.

True again.

But YOU don't know what would have happened had you tried

I personally would have tried as hard to save my bitch afterward, as she tried to win for me when I put her in that position

Your "easy way out" decision may have been following "a vet's recommendations," but it's been my repeated and consistent experience that "vet opinions" aren't worth a whole lot, ultimately.

To me, this was way beyond "a vet" ... it was A MATTER OF PRINCIPLE: anything that tries THAT hard for me, I am trying THAT hard for it. Period. End of story.

That is just basic decency.

Also, correct me if I am wrong, but didn't you say in the beginning that your dog just "beat all the odds" by winning in the first place?

Yet you don't give her the chance TO LIVE afterward, by ignoring the vet, and doing EVERYTHING YOU COULD FOR HER ... as SHE did everything you could for you

Buddy, she just finished "ignoring all the odds" for you ... yet you cave in to the odds when it's your turn to reciprocate

That is just lame, plain and simple.

I can't sugar-coat my honest opinion.

I respect the way you're handling my statements, but I think YOU FAILED YOUR DOG when it counted

Denial isn't rebuttal my friend, it is only denial
