People can use whatever terminology they want, but that doesn't mean people are correct in doing so

I can call a spider a "fly," and a bird a "snake," but that doesn't mean these things are what I call them. It simply makes me ignorant in my terminology.

Calling bulldogs "hounds" is simply incorrect.

If you don't like the term "retard" then use the term "wrong" or "incorrect."

And, you sure do sound upset ... most of us here were having fun ... seems like you're the only one on this thread who is truly angry

Again, you are the only one who truly does seem upset by my use of the word, "Retard," and are thus showing thin (not thick) skin about the use of the word.

If you have someone in your family who is retarded, and if I have offended you by using the word, that was not my intent.

However, I don't believe I will ever have "respect for the retarded" ... though I can be sympathetic to their plight and the plights of those with retarded family members.

That has already been highlighted, on the previous page, where I admitted to Eliman of being hypocritical

Lighten up.
