You might be able to get your home, etc., insured ... but where pit bulls are listed as an exclusion.
It is actually NOT a good idea "not to tell" the company ... because, if you have a big loss (and they don't know you have a pit bull), they can deny you coverage for "material misrepresentation."
However, if you DO tell them, and they write an EXCLUSION for pit bulls, you're okay.
In other words, you're covered for everything else, but if your bulldog bites someone you're shit outta luck.
