Errrr.... Dirt is dirty.... See root word of dirty.. You would prefer dirt??? Really?? Have you ever bathed one after a show? Tended to wounds? You'd prefer to dig dirt out of every wound? It's a pretty silly question if you ask me.

I don't see how its a silly question , hunting dogs, digging terriers work in earth and dirt, no big deal.
