I know someone who supplied many a dog to that area for a long time. Their main problem is they were into "to the death" to the extent that they were killing all the GAME dogs and ended up with just rough ass hard mouthed dogs. One way too far isn't good for the dogs. Didn't mean to flow with what's looking like a change in the subject here, but thought it worth mentioning.
