MY FOLKS ALWAYS MADE SURE THE DOGS BEST INTEREST WAS FIRST.... I STILL FEEL THAT WAY AND I'M SURE THEY'RE OTHERS.. GONE ARE THE DAYS WHERE A LOSS WAS NOT A DEATH SENTENCE! THE TRU TO THE BREED FOLKS COULD TELL IF IT WAS THE CONDITION OR THE HANDLE...OR IT JUST WAS'NT THE DOGS DAY...
OL TOM TOLD ME ONCE.WHEN I WAS FIRST CUT LOOSE AND IT'S BURNED IN MY HEAD..''SON YOU DID THE RITE THING BY PICKING THAT ONE UP! STAND BY YOUR DECISION.. HE'LL BE A WINNER! JUST NOT TONITE''
THEM WORDS SEEMED TO BE REPLACED BY THINGS LIKE PLUG IT IN OR LEAVE IT THERE! WHEN IT VERY WELL COULD'VE BEEN THE HANDLE OR THE CONDITIONER..

Too many people are just pieces of human trash ... no regard for life, the animal, nothing.

I don't see why a fight has to mean a death sentence for one of the dogs either. There doesn't have to be anything cold-blooded about a fight.

It is supposed to be honoring both dogs, respecting winner and loser alike. Most curs give it a helluva go before they quit.

The mentality of too many people today simply sucks.

I haven't seen it with my own eyes, but from what I have heard the Japanese conduct their dog deals with the kind of setup and outlook that they deserve.

I'd say less than 15% of American dogmen do these days.
