As I said, based on the show I saw I thought Jerry was a decent dog. I said nothing negative about him. I also said I believed Spike was a good dog based on the accounts I've heard, though I hadn't seen him with my own eyes and therefore can't really make an evaluation in his case. As for Tomy, I gave the reasons I didn't like him. I don't think he's a quality dog in any meaning of the word. In one of his wins he spent most of the show on his back and only won because the other handler picked up his dog -- a dog who was on top the entire show, and still on his feet with nothing resembling serious damage! As for his loss, I don't think further commentary is necessary. Your absolutely correct about Pongo, he showed he was a bulldog against Mrki. I'm always open to being proven wrong.
