Thank You Jack and Milky. The mystery is solved at least for me. Never met Garcia but had heard the name. A former dog man and friend I knew, named M. Hill. Had a full brother sibling to the Dunlavy's Rowdy dog. Was called Hill's Johnny. His pedigree is listed on this site.

The Britches dog was one of the best looking and best built Red Boy dogs Katie ever bred. Was a popular Red Boy stud dog back then. I saw her Venus bitch dog but no longer remember what she looked liked.

R. Williams owned some Red Boy dogs bred off the Britches dog. Williams spent a lot of time at Katies. Knew her dogs well and helped test a bunch of them. Williams blended his Red Boy stock with W.Truett's Prince dog. He got some nice looking well built dogs that made good pulling dogs. Williams came down with Diabetes and no longer is in the game. Williams was a fun guy to be around and a good dog man. Pictures of some of his dogs on the other site. I brought some of his pedigrees over to Jack's site. Do not yet know how to transfer the pictures. Got to work on that.


Back on subject,was hoping this former dog man was Ed Larson. Would like to have a chat with Ed. Cheers
