This can be verified by talking to some actual friends of BST. Some of the referees he used weren't actually there, and this also can be verified. Like Cityswamp said, when BST stepped out onto a larger scale, he became most noted for the people he lost to not the ones he won over. The people he lost to where legitimate competitors, and those can be verified as well.
