I think Bob Stevens lost his mind for a moment when he wrote that. That must be another tactic to elevate the Morochito dog to immortality. Certainly "blending in outside breeds" is NOT a preferred method of producing superior pit dogs by anybody but the rankest, most unschooled novices, who do not even deserve to be called a breeder.

With that said, there may be the occasional freak who had 1/8th of something else in the pedigree and was good in spite of it, and not because of it.
