Been having a little battle with this nasty shit lately. I wanted to share a little of my experience. First I could not get any Vet to prescribe Tamiflu for me, I live at least an hour away from a vet so I didn't want to haul my pups with tender bellies around in a car. You would think vets would have more regard for other peoples animals and not want a bunch of parvo pups at their office but I guess the more that get sick the more money they make. Anyways someone might want to try to get this to have on hand just in case.
I had 5 pups when this started and I still have 4. I think I was just a little late on getting to the one that I lost. I was giving lactated ringer Sub-Q 30-60 ml twice daily, 2-4 cc pepto 2x also, 1cc penicillin once a day. I bought em some canned pedigree to eat because they were not very fond of the chicken broth and rice. When feeding parvo pups I like to try an offer them different things until I find something they want to eat. Have 1 pup here that is still not 100% he finally ate something for me yesterday but all he will eat is raw beef scraps.
