i rather see bulldogs take on other bulldogs, the screaming is crazy
dont like it as a sport but as catchdogs they are good i supose.
i thought they did pretty good myself ,as far as the hog screaming ,it wasn't out of pain they will do that at feed time.a hog is one of the toughfest critters alive.and can live through things a dog can't.
In person on an actual hunt ,when you here the hog and the dogs getting down that is one more rush.PIG MAD knows what i am saying.
went out yesterday got 24 pigs no monsters but thought id show a few pics give you all something to look at
Thanks i do the best i can for em compliments are always appreciated...
Honest question: wouldn't you develop better dogs if you took those protective jackets off of them?
In other words, the dogs with naturally good technique/instincts would survive ... because they'd position themselves correctly naturally ... while the dogs with lousy instincts (who grab the wrong spots, have no defense, etc.) would get culled by the hogs.
To me, it doesn't seem to be as much of a "sport" if the dogs have armor ...
Jack
what is exactly what you are doing with the dogs? i don't know anything about it
i always thought they are used to catch the hogs and then u finish them off or you capture and replace.
but if i read jack's post i see its a sport
