Senior game dogs

Do anyone know if a good game proven dog can lose interest in the game as a senior?

I think there is a flip side to everything as everything has to be graded on an individual/case by case basis.

If an older dog can still get the chain tight and think he still has gas in the tank I would imagine at some point that same older dog may think the other way too.

I have seen dogs that were really 'eager' as younger dogs but once the breeding starts that becomes their world.

With these dogs, I have just never bought into blanket statements.
