The Pit Bull Bible State of Union Address 2025

Hello all,

I purchased the database in 2016 to keep what I considered an extremely valuable resource available to you all who were here from the beginning. Unfortunately when the database was created I don't think future upgrades were taken into consideration. The site's functionality still works but we are running on old technology from 2012 and it hurts. The cost of the server suddenly almost tripled after GoDaddy bought out MediaTemple a few years ago and I make enough through subscriptions to just keep us going. Me buying the website has never been about profit but more so about taking an invaluable resource and giving it back to the users and community we have here. With that said I would like to upgrade the database and get us off this crap, failed, vbulletin software that the developers have all but abandoned. I am sincerely asking for help from the members here. I believe there was a stigma about this site that is long gone, and would like to believe that we can grow more as numbers have declined over the years. Please ask, refer, promote and send as many people in the Pit Bull community to our Forum to become members. Numbers will help tremendously. Also I started a store with merchandise for purchase that I'll be expanding upon soon! All proceeds are going to help keep this board going and will be reinvested back into the community so you can continue to have the best damn APBT forum in the world. This is your community and I would like you to think of it that way! That said we can grow and get better together but we are in need of some serious TLC and I want to be as transparent as possible.

I've added probably 6-10 members in the past year or so. I just gave a guy the link ystrdy honestly and he'll be coming on within this week. I like this forum over the other Pitbull databases & will do whatever I can to help keep it.

Pm list of needs

I just saw this. Several of my puppy owners have tried to join and get notices saying they are banned. Is there some sort of glitch preventing new people from signing up?

No glitch. Becoming a member is a two part process: Registration + subscribing. All new users are screened and must be approved by me upon registration which takes less than 24hrs in most cases. Once approved they must then subscribe to gain full access to the website. I don't know who you know that signed up but I'd estimate at least 75% that register never pay to subscribe. So I would ask them to follow up and complete the process.
