sores/bumps on chin and in-between toes

Hi guys,
Here is my problem. My dog has developed these red, irritated bumps on his chin. The area that has the bumps is also a little swollen. If I press or squeeze on them a little bit of blood/ clear liquid comes out and occasional a tiny bit of white puss, but only a very very tin amount. The area doesn't seem to itch and it hasn't spread. He also had a couple of these bumps in-between his toes but they went away. At first I thought it was seasonal allergies but the ones on the chin haven't gone away. They seemed to get better for a bit and then boom, its back on his chin.

Just to soothe the irritated areas I have been soaking him in a warm Epsom salt bath and then I applied some neem oil on the affected area. Aside from these bumps, the dog seems to be in great health. I have a buddy with a dog bred similar to mine (same sire) and his dog also developed these bumps in-between his toes. His dogs bumps went away after he stopped feeding him beef. I have switched to a chicken based diet (mixture of raw whole ground chicken, and some Purina Pro Plan Sport Chicken kibble. I also add in some bee pollen and a few times a week will add either plain yogurt, kiefer or buttermilk. The bumps haven't gotten any better yet

Before taking him to the vet I thought I'd ask around for help and do some more research. i am wondering if going to a kibble that is grain free will help. Perhaps in the near future I will go to Jacks suggested raw diet and exclude kibble all together. The only reason I am using kibble at all is because the whole ground animals are pricey but if going straight raw will remedy my dog than I will do it ASAP. Also I wanted to see how adding in some more carbs (kibble) to his diet would affect his endurance when doing road work. Also, his stools are solid and no weird colors, so all good there. Tonight I will add pictures of affected area.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

After doing some research I am wondering if it is just acne??? The dog is bathed about once every week, maybe two weeks. His feeding bowls are regular washed and cleaned, so I don't think he is around any bacteria or fungus that would cause this? He is 18 months old, so maybe just an adolescent stage?

Maybe you are bathing him to much.

Is he eating from a plastic bowl? Sometimes that can cause bumps like you describe.

well, I only started bathing him that frequently when the bumps arrived hoping it would help. He eats from a stainless steel bowl.

Did you find out what was causing it. Buck had the same thing in his toes but that was after I started adding hamburger to his diet. Skin cleared up when I stopped feeding him it but them came back later but that was because I was feeding him some rawhides and guess what beef product also. Stopped all the beef products and low and behold he came out of it.

if you believe its from food , check something called elimination diet , basiccly you start with horsemeat and some rice add some oil , than every 2 weeks you add something . you can get it kibble based as well . there are dogs that appear to be allergic to some types of animal protein

Sores on the mouth/between toes can also be a sign of an autoimmune disease (e.g., lupus), as well as simple bacteria infection.
