First heat cycle

Whats the oldest any of you have ever seen a bitch come in her first heat cycle?

Had one years ago that was about 2 1/2 years before her first heat.

18 month old for the latest, the youngest I seen one come in heat was 12 month old. Some bitches just take longer to mature than others, just like humans. I think if a young bitch gets socialized with other dogs more often when theyre young they tend to come in heat sooner.

It's pretty common for younger bitches to have silent heats. You might miss the first ones. I've seen bitches in heat at 6 moths old.

Ok thanks everybody, my bitch is only 11 months so she still a young pup. Her half sister was 10 months when she came in her first time so i wasnt sure what the age range for the first one thnks again.
