I definitely have discovered there is a huge difference between Feds online and Pitbull Bible. The Bible is a much better database with a lot of features. Feds online, definitely has the forum users....🤷

Ppl here keep their nose down and mind their own business

The rules and expectations here is probably the difference.

Over there you can duplicate pedigrees, call each other names, post outlandish crap about people and/or their dogs.

Here, not so much.

I wish there was more content in the forum but the database makes up for that.

As long as people don't create duplicates, and are not blatantly disrespectful to other members. I don't care what they post about.

I've purposely posted when I got on here to stimulate convo. No one's participating

It's gonna take a concerted effort to make this worth subscribing to and by All means could be worth it and a lot of fun. But I doubt it happens

Honestly I think ppl just got soooo use to being on eggshells when CA Jack owned the site they were always one click from being banned it kinda created the culture here. Ppl just mind their business and build their dogs. With gamedog.com going down you'd think ppl would want to be part of a or create a new pit bull community other than peds. Im totally for fun discussions like peds but none of the toxic bs. I'm in the process of revamping the site and updating it to XenForo. Stick around for a bit why don't ya.

I check in a couple three times per week. I pulled some old threads to spark conversations.

Brickface might be right. CaJack built an awesome tool and then his personality chased a lot of people away.

I'm still a big fan of the database.

I will make another effort at sparking conversations. It is one of my favorite topics. LOL

I tried to strike up a convo or two.
Will continue if it will help out to try and wake things up.

The dogs are a dying game, too much risk, too little reward ... for decent folks.

I have had "so many" folks try to contact me on FB ... and I block almost all of them.

(Not out of disrespect, just to sever all ties with this gam ...)

That said, I joined here and "paid my dues" ... even though part of the agreement was I would remain a lifetime Staff Administrator

No one will ever "be me" ... "replace me" ... or even come close.

"Buying my website" will *never* make anyone "California Jack" ... no one can/ever will replace me in the sport of dogs.

That said, and my arrogance aside, my love for these dogs is sincere.

It was a struggle to disconnect.

If I don't get "deleted here" again (from my own friggin website, lol) ... I will try to offer the best input I can ... going forward.

Welcome back Jack. Stay awhile...No hard feelings on this end!

It’s been awhile…

“The dogs are a dying game, too much risk, too little reward ... for decent folks.”

Sadly a very true statement. Plus most of the old timers are gone now.

And yes, it would be nice to see more discussions on the forum.

Have never tried to speak anything but the truth.

Got out, went Arkansas newscaster call me on the phone.

Not willing to be a martyr for dogs; I have way too much to offer this world besides combat dogs.

I have absolutely loved my combat dogs, but they will NOT be greater then ME ...

I am greater than them ... and the commercialization of dogs has put EVERYONE in this field in the spotlight..

The statute of limitations of my involvement are now expired.

I have no dogs; I have no risk anymore.

And it's a good feeling.

I know what you mean C.J., I too had to bow out. Just when I had got my act together with a good family of dogs to work with. The risk was just too great. I will soon hit the 76-year-old mark. Mind and health still good.

My older dog partner of 87 years old. Finally sold off the last six or so of our last family of dogs. V.J. kept them family bred for over forty years with only two outcrosses.

Anyone that has any of your 100% bred dogs are blessed. I considered your bloodline as valuable as the last line of dogs like Mr. Lightner had bred.

You had a great Catalyist family of dogs. That would have improved a lot of these last heavy bred Tudor's Dibo line of dogs. Take care, Cheers
